About The Tiles
The photo coasters and tiles that I create are a little more artsy and funky than your average photo tile. The process I use is part of the reason they come out looking that way. It’s a labor intensive process , and the price reflects the amount of time and effort I put into creating the tiles. A few Notes :
1) Colors do not transfer well, so I will convert any color photo to black and white prior to transfer.
2) Photos taken with cellphones will not work well on tile
3) Photos can be emailed to me but should be in original size, and saved at 100%, and in landscape orientation.
4) Please review the following minimum photo pixel sizes for tiles:
4×4 coaster tiles / minimum pixels = 1,280 x 960 or higher
6×6 trivet / minimum pixel size = 1600 x 1200 or higher
if in doubt shoot everything at the highest setting for your camera.
I just wanted to say Yippee. I recently had the opportunity to purchase one of Artsyphototiles Grouted Trivets and a set of 4 coasters that are always used around the house. They are various “action shots” and profile pics of my adopted rescue dog, nicknamed “Flying Ears”. They came out so good, that I even offered to let them be used as displays. I plan on purchasing some for friends as they make great gifts whether to celebrate the next birthday of someone, a housewarming gift or just because. They are a unique gift that are functional and fun and they look great.
