About The Tiles
The photo coasters and tiles that I create are a little more artsy, and funky than your average photo tile. The process I use is part of the reason they come out looking that way. It’s a labor intensive process, and the price reflects the amount of time and effort I put into creating the tiles. I understand that they are not for everyone, but if you are looking for a cool and unique gift idea, or just a new way to display your favorite photo of pets, family, or even your favorite landscape please give me a call at 978 606-7655
A few Notes :
1) Colors do not transfer well, so I will convert any color photo to black and white prior to transfer.
2) Photos taken with cellphones will not work well on tile
3) Photos can be emailed to me but should be in original size, and saved at 100%, landscape orientation.
4) Please review the following minimum photo pixel sizes for tiles:
4×4 coaster tiles / minimum pixels = 1280 x 960 or higher
6×6 trivet / minimum pixel size = 1600 x 1200 or higher
if in doubt shoot everything at the highest setting for your camera. If you have a photo and want to see if it is high enough resolution.
If you have a Mac:
1. Click on your digital pic.
2. Apple or command “i”.
3. “Dimensions” tells you the pixels.
If you have a PC:
1. Right click on your digital pic.
2. Scroll down to “Properties.”
3. Click on “Summary Tab, this my also be labeled details.” You will then be able to view the pixel size.
