My Pet Photography services:
I discovered that I had a talent and passion for pet photography kind of by accident. I run a busy pet care business, and started photographing my clients as a way to make my day more interesting. I believe all the time I have spent with animals has made me a better pet photographer. The process of getting a good photo of a dog or cat is two parts. First, you need to understand their nature, and how they think and act. The second, part is comprised of creativity, timing, and composition, not to mention patience. My photography style is candid and artistic. Pricing: My biggest weakness is the fact I am not a business person. In fact, the one thing I hate about working for myself is the business end of things…I just don’t have it in me as I’m a thinker and a dreamer …, and I don’t like to be bothered with details! So, my decision on pricing has been a struggle for me. I researched every local pet photographer that I could find, and found prices ranging from surprisingly affordable to “OH MY GOD ARE YOU INSANE!!” I decided I would like to be at the lower end of the scale for now as I am just starting out.
